§ 14-25. Clerk of the municipal court.

(a)

Appointment. The municipal court administrator and the clerk of the municipal court shall be appointed by the city council.

(b)

Powers and duties. The clerk of the municipal court shall have the powers and duties prescribed by the laws of the state and by this article in transacting the business of the court.

(c)

Deputy clerk. Subject to the approval of the mayor, the clerk may appoint one or more deputy clerks who, when acting in such capacity, shall have the same authority as the clerk of the municipal court.
