§ 2-1. Official newspaper.

As soon as practicable after the beginning of each fiscal year, the city council shall contract, as determined by ordinance or resolution, with a public newspaper of the city to be the city's official newspaper until another newspaper is selected. The city council shall publish in the city's official newspaper each ordinance, notice, or other matter required by law or ordinance to be published.
