§ 2-51. City treasurer.

The city treasurer shall be appointed by the city council. The city secretary shall be the city treasurer and shall perform all of the duties, and have all of the powers properly appertaining to the office. He may sign and execute documents in the capacity of city secretary or city treasurer.
