§ 34-73. Use of alcoholic beverages in city parks prohibited; exception.

No person shall sell, consume or possess any alcoholic beverage in any city park; provided, however, that the city council, upon receiving an application for a special civic or charitable event permit, may authorize a temporary variance to this prohibition, subject to such special conditions as the council may prescribe in its resolution granting the special event permit.
