§ 46-18. Standing or parking close to curb.

  • Except where necessary in obedience to traffic regulations or traffic signs or signals, the driver of any vehicle shall not stop, stand, or park such vehicle in a roadway or street other than parallel with the edge of such roadway or street, headed in the direction of traffic and with the curbside wheels of the vehicle within six inches of the edge of the roadway or street, except where streets have been marked for angle or head-in parking, and then only between the designated and marked parking lines, and not over or across such lines.
