§ 46-3. Authority of officials to direct traffic.

It shall be the duty of the police department, constable, or city marshal, of city to enforce the provisions of this chapter, and, in case of fire or other emergency, or to expedite traffic, officers of the police and fire departments may direct traffic as conditions may require notwithstanding the provisions of this chapter.
