§ 48-24. Advance deposit required.

All consumers of water shall be required to make a deposit, in advance, as provided for in the fee schedule found in the appendix of this Code to ensure the water department against loss due to nonpayment of water and sewer bills. Water and sewer bills shall become due and payable at the office of the water department immediately on, and must be paid within ten days from, the date of the bill.
