§ 52-3. Fees, charges, and expenses.

  • (a)

    The city council established fees, charges, and expenses, and a collection procedure for building permits, certificates of zoning compliance, appeals, and other matters pertaining to this chapter as set forth in the city fee schedule. No permit, certificate, special exception, or variance shall be issued unless and until such costs, charges, fees or expenses listed below have been paid in full or waived by the city council, nor shall any action be taken on proceedings before the board of adjustment unless or until preliminary charges and fees have been paid in full or waived by the city council.

    (b)

    No petition shall be docketed with the planning and zoning commission of the city unless and until a receipt from the tax assessor collector of the city has been furnished the secretary of the commission showing that the fee provided for in this chapter has been paid or duly waived, and no application for relief shall be docketed with the board of adjustment of the city is furnished the secretary of the board showing that the fee provided has been paid or duly waived by the city council.
