§ 8-22. Disposal of dead animals.

It shall be the responsibility of the owners of any dead animals to be properly disposed of within a 24-hour period. The animal control officer has the authority to pick up any dead animal found on public property and dispose of it. After 24 hours, the animal control officer may remove any dead animal from property which the property owner has failed to dispose of.
