§ 12-215. Same—Mobile vendors.

The following procedures apply to mobile food establishment vendors:

(1)

Mobile vendors are permitted, inspected and must comply with state food rules.

(2)

Mobile vendors must operate out of a permitted commissary.

(3)

Mobile vendor or catering stickers will be issued following satisfactory inspection (placed on vehicle by inspector and located near left rear corner of vehicle).

(4)

Caterers will pay for commissary operations only. Stickers indicating catering operations will be placed on all vehicles.

(5)

Mobile vendors require permits (and payment) per vehicle. Mobile vendors that have not renewed their permits after six months following the expiration date will be rendered out of business in the database and removed from active files.
