§ 48-29. Schedule of rates.

Latest version.
  • (a)

The minimum monthly fixed user fees as provided for in the fee schedule found in the appendix of this Code are applicable to all single residential services, commercial businesses, Industrial users, schools, hospitals, nursing homes and public and private institutions having a single service meter. These rates do not apply to multifamily dwellings, duplexes, hotels, motels, condominiums, mobile home parks, penal institutions, jails and recreational vehicle parks that utilize a master meter rather than individual service meters.

    (b)

Fixed rates for meters over two inches will be determined on individual contracts drafted by the city water department.

    (c)

In all cases where more than one living unit, motel-hotel room, jail or prison cell, condominium unit, mobile home park space or recreational vehicle park space is supplied through one single master meter, a minimum monthly flat charge would be made for each additional living unit, motel-hotel room, jail or penal cell, condominium unit, mobile home park space or recreational vehicle park space computed on the flat rate for three-quarter-inch service as set forth in the fee schedule found in the appendix of this Code.

    (d)

The rates per month, or fraction thereof, as set forth in the fee schedule found in the appendix of this Code shall be the rates charged for water furnished to water consumers within the corporate limits of the city. When water is provided outside the corporate limits, a 1.5 multiplier would be applied to the following water rate table to compute monthly bills.
