§ 48-42. Charges for sewer services and schedule of sewer rates.

  • (a)

    The charges to made for tapping into the sewer mains shall be as set forth in the city fee schedule.

    (b)

    The rates per month, or fraction thereof, as set forth in the city fee schedule shall be based on the water consumption/usage for that period up to a maximum of 12,000 gallons for domestic residential type users. All other users bills will be computed on actual water usage with no limitations above 12,000 gallons.

    (c)

    In all cases where more than one living unit, motel-hotel room, jail or prison cell, condominium unit, mobile home park space or recreational vehicle park space is supplied through one single master meter, a minimum monthly flat charge would be made for each additional living unit, motel-hotel room, jail or penal cell, condominium unit, mobile home park space or recreational vehicle park space computed on the flat rate as set forth in the city fee schedule.

    (d)

    In the case of residential domestic users the sewer charge would stop upon the water consumption reaching 12,000 gallons per month per unit.
