§ 8-3. Authority to carry tranquilizer guns.

When acting in the course and scope of his employment, the animal control officer shall be and is authorized to carry on his person or in his city vehicle, loaded tranquilizer guns approved by the animal control supervisor and not in violation of any provision of the state penal code or any other applicable state law.
