§ 14-20. Appointment and compensation of municipal court judge.

(a)

The office of the judge of the municipal court of the city shall be filled by appointment of the city council.

(b)

The judge shall be appointed for a term running concurrently with that of the mayor and until his successor has been appointed and duly qualified. He shall receive such compensation as the city council shall fix by ordinance or resolution.
