§ 10-23. Additional remedies.

  • In addition to the penalties set out in section 10-23, the city may institute any appropriate action or proceedings in any court having proper jurisdiction to restrain, correct or abate a violation of any of the terms and provisions of the 2003 International Existing Building Code, and the fact that such violation may constitute a misdemeanor as defined herein shall not preclude the city from invoking the civil remedies given it by the laws of the state and this section, and any and all rights and remedies of the city shall be cumulative.
